PROCEDURE FOR ADMISSION IN CLASSES PRE-PRIMARY – IX
(SESSION 2013-2014)

  1. Eligible age for Pre-Primary is 4+ as on 31.03.2013.
  2. Admission to these classes (Pre-Primary – IX) depends only on the availability of seat against withdrawal of the student/s.
  3. Desiring parents can submit the application on a plain paper at the school reception fromFebruary 01, 2013 to February 15, 2013 with the following documents:-
  • Copy of Date of Birth Certificate for admission in Pre-Primary and I (for Class I, a copy of report card of last year can also be submitted)
  • Copies of report card of last two years for admission to Classes II-IX.

(Application will be considered purely on the availability of the seat, as mentioned above)

 

List of documents to be submitted at the time of registration

  1. Birth certificate of the child
  2. Medical certificate of the child (for the children with the special needs) as referred in sl. No 16 & 21
  3. Qualification documents of father and mother of sec/sr. sec, graduation/post graduation etc.
  4. Proof of residence
  5. Proof of sibling (wherever applicable)
  6. Proof of alumni (wherever applicable)
  7. Certificate of SC/ST/OBC (if applicable)
  8. Undertaking that distance shown in the form from school to residence is correct
  9. Proof of interstate transferable job
  10. Affidavit for first born child is girl

The school holds its investiture for the session 2014-15

Investiture ceremony Investiture ceremony TODAY'S SOLDIERS; TOMORROW'S LEADERS Investiture Ceremony was a solemn affair at school as the new student council was sworn in for the current session on 24 July 2014. The programme commenced with the pious lighting of the lamp. School Principal Mrs. Neeta Jethy administered the oath and adorned the council members with badges and sashes. The academic advisor Ms. Rita Talwar congratulated the current office bearers by urging them to lead by example and take the school to higher pinnacles. Head boy Himank Gupta and Head Girl Niharika Grover Pledged to uphold the values of the school and abide by is rules and regulations by keeping the school flag flying high. The school echoed with applause reflective of the spirit and enthusiasm for the new cabinet. The function came to an end with the school song resounding in the auditorium followed by National Anthem.

Teachers getting genius guidance on “Mind Mapping” . The School organized a workshop on Mind Mapping for teachers of Pre School to class VII on 12th July, 2014 . The resource person Mrs. Mrinalini Kora  enlightened the teachers on the various forms of Graphic Organisers which can be effectively used for making the concepts clear and also to generate interest among the students in the class room learning . The presentations done by the teachers of different subject groups on topics of their respective subject were highly appreciated by the resource person.

Warm Welcome to Ms. Bob Woodman

DSC_8778The school welcomes Ms. Bob Woodman, Head Teacher of Shoreham Beach Primary School, U.K The  School accorded a warm welcome to its visiting guest Ms. Bob Woodman, Head teacher of Shoreham Beach Primary School, U.K. at a grand function organized at the school auditorium on August 11, 2013. The visit was a friendly gesture in the context of the project titled ‘Monuments – giving the past a future’ taken up by the school in collaboration with the U.K. school.   The function that commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting was followed by the welcome address by the principal, Mrs. Neeta Jethy and a medley of enthralling cultural events presented by the students. The exhibition of the magazines & scrap books on the project, prepared by the students of class VIII & Class V respectively, was yet another highlight of the evening. Ms. Woodman also exchanged the project reports and C.Ds of the work done by the students of Grade III of her school, which was very inspiring for our students.  

The day also offered an opportunity for both the teachers and students to have a fruitful interaction with the guest. The quest in her speech, lauded and thanked the school for its excellent efforts.
